I started writing fanfiction at the age of 14 while I was housebound with Myalgic Encephalopathy to occupy my time and havn't stopped since. It started with 'Tolkien's Flying Circus' (a LOTR/Monty Python crossover) and a string of BTVS fiction. Now I write mostly BTVS, LOTR and SPN fiction. At around the same time I learned to make dreamcatchers and found that I had a knack for it. Over a decade later and the dreamcatchers just keep coming. While at university studying for the final year of my degree I started writing original fiction based on some of my more unusual dreams. This started with a short story entitled 'The Hunger' based entirely on a dream (no doubt the product of too much paranormal romance and horror movies) and then 'Chimera Medusa' which was a combination of some strange dreams and my love of Greek Mythology. I am currently working on several stories, mostly inspired at least in part by Classical myths or Fairy Tales. The crafts began adding up at that time as well. I started selling my knitted dolls and shawls at craft events and experimenting with different materials and techniques. Now I make a wide variety of products including Dolls, Paintings and Prints, Dreamcatchers, Shawls, Hats, Wedding Favours and Tea Cosies. Most of what I do has a Myhtological or Pagan feel to it and I love taking on custom work. So if there is something in particular you are after let me know and I will see what I can do. |
